Just put in my two weeks notice today at the day job. It was scary and nerve-wracking…but SOOOOO worth it. I needed a change, and the new job offers great experience. It feels so liberating. Truth!
Been cranking away at the new outline of the second book in my superhero series. I’ve made tons of headway and am close to being done. There’s one glaring issue…
My antagonist’s story needs alot of work! I have a framework of what’s needed in my head. But still, writing it out is a bit daunting. This guy needs to be a worthy future antagonist for my series’ protagonist. A thinking man’s villain but with power to back up his smarts. A genuine threat that we are witnessing in his rise to power.
Exciting ain’t it? I figure I’ll finish the outline and then get back into some real writing. Probably the novella idea I’ve been sitting on since my Peru trip two years ago. I’m looking forward to trying my hand at a more grounded in reality tale. Oh well.
