I commented on an article that dissected why the movie was getting such rancor from critics despite being well-regarded by many fans. Its been over a month since Man of Steel came out and people are still debating its quality. Some people really liked/loved it, other loathed it to its very core.

I saw Oblivion a few weeks back. Much better than TRON: Legacy by miles, but still missing that something that could ave made it great. I thing a lot of that was how the story tried to tack on too many ideas for its own good. Otherwise, Oblivion is a perfectly acceptable film that is continuing the flourishing trend of original science fiction appearing on the big screen.

So I just saw the reboot that apparently no one wanted. Seriously. When I perused through fan sites and blogs during the months leading up to The Amazing Spider-Man’s premiere I saw nothing but disinterest or annoyance or confusion. It’s too soon for a reboot…why are they doing another origin story….not seeing this at all…is this Spider-Man 4?”
