Apologies for the lack of posts. The day job has been very busy of late. I’ll try and manage more time for posts moving forward.
I’ve shaved now over 16,000 words from the first STAR BRIGADE novel. I’m pretty happy with that. All I need is another 15-16k and I’ll be satified with that. Another big change for me is the current ccekeke.com site.
After some researching, I realized how when I start promoting my book, my previous site was not going to work out long-term for what I needed. Only my blog was in Word Press using a hacked site template, which really hampered what i could do with WP. So I finally took the leap and coverted it completely into a Words Press site. My thoughts so far? Love the functionality.
My one gripe is the skin and graphics. If I can find someone who’ll keep the way the theme functions but update the skin I’ll be happy. But either way, this new theme will really help me when is tart actively promoting my book via my website and social media accounts.
I really need to start on my novella project soon. I think once I’ve trimmed down the first Star Brigade book to my satisifcation then I’ll be set.
