Some News and Clues

When I’m proven wrong by something that entertains me, it’s very much a good thing. In short, DC’s New 52 has ended up being a winner for me. I caught up on some of DC’s secondary titles like Catwoman, Teen Titans and Red Hood & The Outlaws,< only to really enjoy the direction they're taking them.

Now, if only DC could really capitalize on the New 52’s success outside of Batman, then that would be a story. What if they could really truly get their other franchises off the ground? What if, instead of aiming high for a Wonder Woman movie, let’s try for just a cartoon like they did with the early 90s Batman? That would spread awareness about the character in a weekly way, along with get potential fans familiar with her history and rogues gallery. Plus, they should make it for adults and not kids.

Or, DC could (or should) create a Justice League movie made completely from CGI, as seen with the amazing DC Universe Online trailer here.

Go ahead. Bask in its amazingness. I’ll wait.

Now do you think a movie full of that would tank if done right? HELL. NO. My point is that it’s time for DC Entertainment to start really not just relying on Chris Nolan and Batman to validate their non-comic ventures. What do you guys think?

Anyhow, onto some novel news. Still in a slight holding pattern thanks to my computer situation. I have most of the parts, but am still waiting for the key components to complete my new beast of a PC.

But regardless, I’m still writing, coming up with plots an schemes, stories and space operas. This new book series concept has really grabbed my interest. Granted, I won’t even write a paragraph until after I completely the third Star Brigade novel. However, I’m really enjoying the flow of ideas for whatever it will transform into and how it will ultimately tie into the Star Brigade. Til then, if your dream if vivid, you work hard to live it.
