Saw Super 8 yesterday. It was fun. Really enjoyed all the performances, especially by the kids. It clearly was an homage to 80s movies like Goonies and any alien flick Spielberg directed.

The alien monster was a tad disappointing. Looking oddly close to the Cloverfield monster, and for a brief bit I actually thought it was the same one.

Also, during my staycation before starting the new gig, I had lunch with a friend a few days back, and it happened to be one of the best work-lunches I’ve ever had.
