Advice on Finding Editors

Caught Transformers 3 with some friends last weekend. Eesh, I actually disliked this movie even more than the second one. But I didn’t expect much other than big robots fighting other big robots, Shia LaBeouf playing Shia LaBeouf and that new girl Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would be objectified in a fashion befitting a Michael Bay movie.

The Novella

Season 4 of True Blood is off to an interesting start. I really liked the 2nd episode more than the first. TV Premieres & Editing News

True Blood came back last Sunday! Was the Season 4 premiere any good?

Yes and no.

Yes, because things jumped forward one year and a lot of things shifted for our favorite residents of Bon Temps. The show actually needed this, given how damn compressed the True Blood timeline has been for the past three seasons. Sookie found out that Fairyland is really Joshua Tree when you strip away all that airy-fairy glowing shit! Vampries are still doing damage control over Russell Edgington’s craziness. Bill’s now King of Louisiana(!) Jessica and Hoyt are having relationship problems after she starts getting the jones for other people’s blood. Jason’s actually being responsible…and smart! Sam’s meeting regularly with other Shifters. Tara is now a cage-fighting lesbian who goes by Toni–Antonia if you’re nasty. Okay the ‘Antonia’ part was made up 🙂

Now for what didn’t work. Read more ›
