Another year, another Oscars show.

Saw bits and pieces. Some stuff was surprising (David Fincher not winning Best Director for The Social Network). And Sandra Bullock’s charming intro for each of the Best Actor Nominees. But the Oscars for this year was mostly a big ball of  ‘Meh.’

Time for the X-Men to go home

This year FOX will be releasing another X-Men movie, this one titled X-Men: First Class. The plot that I have heard in snippets and bits, is a prequel to the previous X-Men movies…in the 60s. Think Mad Men…but with Mutants.

The Cape and the Synopsis

I watched “The Cape” a few days ago, NBC’s latest foray into the comic book world. I’ll admit that I had higher hopes for this show. The concept had potential to be awesome if done right–emphasis on the ‘if’ part. But if done poorly, the show could collapse onto itself in cartoonishly bad fashion.
