The Martian is the latest entry into the recent resurgence of space exploration films over the last few years. I, for one, am totally stoked to see epic sci-fi movies again as these are what will inspire future generations of sci-fi creators (writers, filmmakers, etc).

Watched Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation a few weeks ago. Always had a fondness for the spy-fi series that Tom Cruise resurrected in 1996. I’ve seen 4 of the five movies now. And each one keeps getting better than the last, a rare feat in this cinematic world of of sequels and reboots.

Didn’t comment too much on this earlier in the month. But it looks like DC Entertainment made a big splash at this year’s San Diego Comic Con with its next two films.
